Scheme transitioning into the PPF

We supported a large, high profile scheme transitioning into the PPF.  Given the high profile status of the scheme, and the complexity and multitude of communications required, the Trustees formed a communication sub-committee. The sub-committee invited not only their own advisers to participate, but also the PPF, TPR, a media relations agency and the Company to ensure all messages were aligned both in terms of content but also timing.

As Secretary to the Trustees, we liaised with all stakeholders to understand the key milestones for communications; drafted specific terms of reference to ensure all were aligned on responsibilities; worked with our communications advisers to create a communications timeline and agree the most appropriate communication methods, including physical newsletters, FAQs and scripts for member helpline. We arranged sub-committee meetings to allow sufficient time to discuss, draft, review and approve, driving the progress of same across all stakeholders to ensure  those communications were ready for issue as each milestone was reached.

This collaboration ensured that the members heard Scheme related messages from the Trustees first.
