James joined Independent Governance Group in 2021, having previously worked at a large employee benefits consultancy as an Associate Consultant.

James has a background in governance and secretarial consulting as well as pensions administration with third party administrators.

His experience includes managing GMP reconciliation projects and Member Nominated Trustee selection exercises, liaising with third party advisers, company representatives and sub-committees, preparing and maintaining scheme governance documentation and responding to Internal Dispute Resolutions.
