Stuart Travers

Stuart has worked in the pensions industry for over 30 years, starting his career in 1991.  His career has allowed him to engage in all aspects of UK pensions provision incorporating DB and DC pension schemes, group personal pension plans and assisting employers in the development of employee benefit strategies.

Stuart has been a professional trustee since 2016, where he led a small scheme solutions as well as being part of a risk transfer team. During his career as a professional trustee, Stuart has worked with global charities, through to global pharmaceutical and manufacturing clients and, in the majority of his appointments, has led the Trustee board as chair.

His background and experience of working with sponsors, advisers and industry professionals, several of whom have had complex funding and sponsor discussions, has led to Stuart being recognised as someone who can achieve the right practical solutions which benefit, sponsors and most importantly members. Solutions which meet the challenges of funding, covenant and investment negotiations, against the backdrop of an ever-changing governance and legislative landscape are the cases which Stuart really enjoys working on.
