Mark is a pensions industry professional with over 30 years’ experience.

He has worked in senior roles for in-house pension arrangements for large employers with DB, DC and Master Trust Schemes ranging in size from £120m to £35bn including British Airways, The RAC, Carnival Plc, Mothercare and Network Rail.

  • Formerly an employer appointed Trustee Director of the £35bn Railways Pension Scheme, sitting on the Integrated Funding, Case and Defined Contribution Committees as well as Chairing the Diversity & Inclusion Committee for the Board.
  • Formerly an employer appointed Trustee Director of the Network Rail CARE and Defined Contribution Pension Schemes (Combined assets of circa £1bn), Chairing the Investment Sub-Committee and acting as Deputy Chair.
  • Carried out a number of service provider reviews/tenders for professional services to pension schemes of various sizes.
  • Delivered a number of large scale pension scheme changes to company pension arrangements including delivery of communication to Scheme members and Trade Unions.
  • Management of in-house pension teams and delivery of company pension strategy to employees providing a cradle to grave service with a high level of customer service.
