Sue has almost 30 years in the pensions industry and has been working in the professional pension trustee space since joining Independent Trustee Services (now IGG) in 2010.

Following a short career break, Sue has now returned to IGG as an Associate Director. She has experience in delivering professional trusteeship across a range of DB and DC schemes. Her day-to-day focus is ensuring best practice, high standards of governance and delivery to client schemes and  members.

Sue is a member of the Pensions Management Institute (ProfPMI) and is an accredited member of the Association of Professional Pension Trustees (AMAPPT)

  • Member Nominated trustee of a hybrid scheme with assets of over £600m.
  • Member of DC Investment Sub-Committee through investment strategy review (£200m assets under management).
  • Lead on procurement exercises across various disciplines (e.g. ‘at retirement’ financial services for a national award winning DC scheme; consolidated admin, actuarial and investment services; and, transition of administration services from one TPA to another).
  • Overseen the completion of a £60m buy-out exercise with a return of surplus.
  • Project managed post-transaction buy-out transfers.
  • Worked ‘in-house’ with pension management teams on discrete pension scheme restructuring exercises (closures/mergers).
