Tim has over 30 years’ experience within the investments and pensions industry.

Prior to joining IGG, he was Head of Investments for the UK and EMEA at Aon, advising a broad range of clients. As part of that role, Tim was CEO of Aon Investment Limited, the investment management business responsible for Aon’s Fiduciary Management services. He led the business for almost 10 years through an array of change in markets and the industry.

Tim is a qualified actuary and also led Hewitt’s (predecessor firm to Aon) benefit administration, as a result he has thorough understanding of the issues facing pension schemes.

Tim’s experience has brought him into contact with a diverse range of schemes. He leverages this expertise to bring a practical edge and thinking that drives success. He relies on direct and transparent that seeks to understand and address the needs of different stakeholders.

Tim is an active contributor to industry thought leadership and is a regular speaker on conference and webinar panels.

  • Over a decade of leading the investment business at Aon, encompassing advisory, DC Solutions, and Fiduciary Management was CEO of the investment management arm of Aon.
  • Managed a diverse portfolio of advisory clients and covering funds from tens of millions to many billions in assets has delivered the full spectrum of funding and investment advice across a range of governance models.
  • Significant experience of working with trustees and corporate stakeholders at the highest level and a wide variety of regulators including UK Government Investments, tPR, FCA, CMA and the Bank of England.
  • Championed diversity at Aon for over a decade was a founder member of CEO Advisory board for Diversity Project and chaired Aon’s Inclusion and Diversity Committee which covered over 5,000 employees.
