What it’s like to work at IGG

People are at the heart of our business and our mission has always been to create a culture where everyone feels that they belong and are valued.

A collaborative environment

We foster a culture of collaboration, respect and open communication. We encourage diverse perspectives and believe in leveraging individual strengths to achieve collective success.

Feedback and professional development

We’re committed to helping our employees reach their full potential. We invest in individual growth and provide the resources and investment you need to thrive in your career.

All new joiners have a three-month and six-month review, where they receive feedback from the people that they work with. We believe that open and honest feedback on performance is important. As part of the annual appraisal process for all staff members we obtain 360-degree feedback, to provide a well-rounded assessment of an individual’s skills, competencies and behaviours.

Driving innovation

In an ever-evolving industry, we embrace innovation and encourage creative thinking. Our Ideas Incubator is tasked with forming, channeling and driving ongoing innovation. The group of experienced trustees meet monthly to debate emerging trends and evergreen topics to ensure IGG remains at the cutting edge, while also working for the benefit of the wider industry.

Ensuring sustainability

IGG is a leader in championing sustainability in pensions, which sits at the heart of its approach to trusteeship. As asset owners with significant amounts of capital, IGG plays a pivotal role in the financial system, and is in the privileged position to influence and drive real-world change.
