£350m buy-in completes!

A DB Pension Scheme has completed a £350m bulk purchase annuity (BPA) buy-in transaction, insuring the defined benefit pension liabilities of around 3,700 members.

Chris Martin said collaboration between the trustees, company and advisers “has been absolutely at the heart of being able to deliver this outcome”.

“The scheme’s sustainability commitment, and its alignment with our beliefs, was a key factor in the selection of our buy-in partner,” he added.
