IGG Named DC Independent Trustee of the Year

We are pleased to be named DC Independent Trustee of the Year at the Corporate Adviser Awards 2026 for the fourth year running.

The award recognises our commitment to delivering better outcomes for pension savers through innovative governance and member-focused initiatives. This includes pioneering research into the retirement experiences of women from ethnic minority communities, helping to shape industry understanding of how pension schemes can better engage underrepresented groups and address inequalities in retirement outcomes.

The research, A glimmer of light on the horizon, was delivered in collaboration with Lane Clark & Peacock (LCP) and Smart Pension, with Priti Ruparelia, Head of DC and Trustee Director at IGG, helping to drive the project. The findings have contributed to industry-wide discussions on improving pension engagement and outcomes for underrepresented groups.

This follows IGG being shortlisted for Independent Trustee of the Year at the UK Pensions Awards 2026, as well as receiving multiple nominations at the Pensions Management Institute Awards, including Leader of the Year, Star in the Making and Team of the Year for the ORA team. The firm has also received recognition in the Professional Pensions 2026 Women in Pensions Awards, with shortlistings for Trustee of the Year, Pensions Woman of the Year and Sales, Marketing & Communications Professional of the Year.
