Promotions wrap up a successful first half of 2023

Independent Governance Group (IGG), the UK’s leading provider of professional pensions trusteeship and governance services today announces 18 promotions across the business following the newly formed company’s strong start to 2023.

Jennifer Adams, Amanda Asante, Scott Duncan, and Annabelle Hardiman have all been appointed Trustee Directors and will bring with them more than 80 years of combined experience to their roles.

Jennifer Adams trained and practised as a pensions lawyer, working both in private practice and in-house, before transferring her skills and expertise to professional trusteeship and pension scheme governance. Amanda Asante is an expert in good governance and reducing operational risk, having recently acted on behalf of a £1bn scheme for a FTSE 100 company. Scott Duncan has more than 25 years of pensions experience, with a more recent focus on scheme governance and project and risk management. Annabelle Hardiman is a specialist in both Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution master trust schemes and joined IGG (then Ross Trustees) in May 2021 as a Trustee Manager.

Supporting IGG’s growing client base are Karen Collins, Michael Derrig, Luke Tutt, and Ian Wilson who have been named Trustee Managers, while Laura Dawkin has become a Senior Associate, and Vicki Baxter and Richard Haslam have been promoted to Associates.

More broadly, IGG has restated its commitment to client centricity and continued growth by promoting Ryan Hubley to Business Development Manager, while Eden Maggs has been become Business Development and Marketing Assistant. Further reinforcing the business’s central services are Shane Brooks and Carly Dewey, who have been promoted to Group Finance Manager and Group Finance Controller respectively.

Joining the group’s Executive Committee following their promotions are Manpreet Sohal, new Chief People Officer, Grant Suckling as Chief Product Officer, and Mark Wileman as Chief Business Development Officer.

These promotions follow a significant period of growth for IGG in 2023. In February, the business was formed through the merger of Ross Trustees and Independent Trustee Services to create the UK’s leading provider of professional pensions trusteeship and governance services. This was shortly followed by the acquisition of Clarity Trustees, further expanding IGG’s client base and expert team.
