Ross Trustees appoints Grant Suckling as Trustee Director

Grant Suckling joins Ross Trustees as a Trustee Director. He brings extensive experience in working alongside blue chip corporates and trustee boards across a range of pensions matters.

Ross Trustees, the professional trustee and pension services firm, has announced the appointment of Grant Suckling as Trustee Director. He joins the business following a 20-year career at Aon, where he was a partner.

Grant has held a number of roles during his career and built significant, wide-ranging experience across many areas of pensions as a result. As a Trustee, Grant has had first-hand experience of all types of scheme governance models and has been a co-trustee, chair and sole trustee for a variety of schemes. He is fully-accredited as a professional pension trustee by the Association of Professional Pension Trustees and is a member of the Pensions Management Institute.

An actuary by training, and a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, Grant has been appointed as both a Scheme Actuary and Corporate Actuary. He has also worked alongside trustees and employers in a number of other capacities such as Scheme Secretary, outsourced Pensions Manager, Project Manager and a Governance and Administration lead adviser.
