Grant Suckling

Grant is the Chief Commercial Officer at IGG. In this newly created role, Grant will be responsible for overseeing and driving commercial strategy, as well as the Group’s commercial operations. An important part of the role is ensuring that clients, colleagues and members’ evolving needs are being continually met through the support offered by IGG.

Grant has 25 years’ pensions experience built through a variety of client and leadership roles in the financial services sector. Grant has held a number of leadership roles, both UK and overseas (US, India, Mauritius).

A qualified actuary, prior to joining IGG Grant was a partner and a professional trustee at a leading consultancy.

He oversees a portfolio of scheme appointments as professional trustee at IGG [, including roles as co-trustee, Chair of Trustees and as professional corporate sole trustee]. His clients include schemes operated by FTSE listed companies.

Grant is known for his pragmatic and proportionate approach with a collaborative working style and an ability to anticipate issues from all angles.

He enjoys helping [all stakeholders]/trustee boards, sponsors, members, advisers and colleagues to successfully navigate their way through opportunities and challenges to find solutions to achieve their objectives.

He is a fully-accredited member of the Association of Professional Pension Trustees and a member of the Pensions Management Institute. He is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries and sits on the Council of the Society of Pensions Professionals.
