Harry has worked in the pensions industry since 2014. His day-to-day responsibilities include assisting parties across all levels both internally and externally, to ensure good governance and positive member outcomes across his varied portfolio of schemes.

His duties range from co-ordinating Trustee meetings, maintaining and updating key governance documents and policies, reviewing annual Scheme Returns and Trustee Report and Accounts, conducting Cyber and ESOG reviews and reviewing member discretions and IDRPs.

Harry has been heavily involved in a number of large projects and is also a member of the internal AML / KYC working group where he leads on complex onboarding and periodic requests.

Since joining IGG, Harry has completed tPR’s Trustee Toolkit and intends to undertake professional exams to become APPT accredited.

  • Adviser review exercises to ensure value for money
  • Experience across DB and DC schemes as well as master trusts, saving plans and schemes in PPF assessment
  • Experienced in a number of large projects including buy-ins, buy-outs, scheme mergers and Master Trust transfers as well as the subsequent wind-up of schemes
  • Experienced in carrying out Cyber and ESOG reviews to identify and address any gaps and ensure regulatory compliance and good governance
  • Leading on complex AML / KYC onboarding and periodic requests
  • Leading on fund change projects and liaising with the parties involved
  • Liaising with Principal Employers, Advisers and Trustee Boards on ongoing actions and developing key relationships
  • Managing of the Trustee Report and Accounts and Scheme Return processes from start to end
  • Preparation and monitoring of budgets and project plans
  • Review and resolution of complex member cases and leading on complex IDRP cases, liaising with the Pensions Ombudsman and achieving positive outcomes
  • Scheme governance and secretarial
  • Trustee and project meeting preparation, attendance and follow-up
  • Updating and maintaining key governance documents (including Scheme Calendars and Risk Registers) and policies
  • Adviser reviews across the full adviser-set on pension schemes
  • Cash and unit reconciliations
  • Complex analysis and resolution of pricing errors and other investment related issues
  • Pension administration
  • Pension investment and the key investment manager platforms
  • Processing of pension contribution files from initial receipt to investment stage and update to member records
