Jake Churchill

Jake is an experienced pensions governance professional. He has worked as part of large third-party pension teams since 2014, growing his skills in governance, secretarial and compliance, and acts as Secretary supporting a wide variety of Trustees.

Jake has a keen interest in Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and continuously looks for ways to drive forward new initiatives to better support Trustees, members and colleagues. Jake also provides secretarial support to the Association of Profession Pension Trustees (APPT) Diversity and Inclusion sub-committee, helping to influence change in the industry.

Jake has a wealth of experience working with large schemes, in particular those with assets over £1B and is particularly aware of the growing governance and regulatory challenges these schemes are facing.

Jake is a fully accredited Trustee by the Association of Professional Pension Trustees.

I wanted to put on record my thanks to Jake for the super facilitation of the meeting today and bringing in the best practices and shared learning from the IGG team. Jake quickly established a good rapport with the trustee board and is super responsive to trustee queries and action requests. This will all be of great benefit to Trustee board governance going forward as the agenda, regulation, legislation and opportunities continue to evolve.
