Having specialised in pensions since qualifying as a solicitor in 2005, Jane has extensive experience as a pensions lawyer and professional trustee in supporting trustee boards and employers through the ever-increasing regulatory pensions landscape.

She built her career across Edinburgh, Glasgow and London working for leading law firms CMS and Brodies before moving into trusteeship in 2021.

Her background in private practice, including in-house compliance work for a major pension provider and advising trustees and employers on the whole spectrum of pensions issues, gives her a comprehensive and balanced understanding of the practical and strategic considerations involved in pension scheme decision-making.

Jane works across a number of appointments as chair, co-trustee and sole trustee on pension schemes at varying stages of their journeys with sponsors from a wide range of sectors.

She takes a holistic and collaborative approach to pension scheme management, governance and long-term operational effectiveness with member experience and engagement being at the heart of her practice.

Based in Edinburgh, Jane is fully accredited by the Association of Professional Pension Trustees.
