Lewis overseas a broad portfolio of appointments as a professional trustee across Defined Benefit and Hybrid (DB/DC) schemes, taking on roles such as Professional Corporate Sole Trustee, Chair of Trustees and Co-Trustee.

He is Deputy Head of IGG’s Risk Transfer Centre of Excellence, helping shape the firm’s approach to risk transfer and leading relationships across the advisory and insurer markets. Since joining IGG in 2022, Lewis has led numerous buy-in transactions, predominantly for schemes under £100m, and has subsequently overseen buy-outs and wind-ups through to completion. Beyond risk transfer, he has extensive experience in scheme governance, strategic journey planning and distressed employer situations involving both The Pensions Regulator and the Pension Protection Fund. Lewis is known for his collaborative, hands-on approach, bringing together sponsors and advisers to deliver efficient, outcome-focused solutions for members and stakeholders.

Lewis is fully accredited as a professional trustee by the Association of Professional Pension Trustees.
