Mark has worked in the pensions industry for over 20 years. His background is in administration and consultancy, and he has worked as a professional trustee for 10+ years.

His approach to trusteeship is focused on open and honest conversations, working in collaboration with co-trustees, advisers and sponsoring employers. A pragmatic approach, combined with extensive professional trustee experience, allows Mark to run schemes effectively with a focus on service and costs.

He has worked on a range of schemes during his career, covering all aspects of DB, DC and hybrid schemes. In recent years, he has completed a number of full scheme buy-ins with various insurers and led multiple change projects, including adviser reviews, corporate restructures and scheme mergers.

Mark has held roles as Chair, board member and sole trustee. He has worked with employers across a range of sectors, including manufacturing, distribution, family-owned businesses and not-for-profit organisations.

He is a fully accredited professional trustee with the Association of Professional Pension Trustees and a Fellow of the Pensions Management Institute.
