Rachel joined IGG in September 2024 and brings extensive expertise in pensions administration. In her current role, she leads and manages a portfolio of Pension Protection Fund (PPF) schemes within the Assessment Period, overseeing the process from validation to transition, ultimately ensuring schemes transfer successfully into the PPF or achieve a buyout. This includes high-profile schemes, establishing a robust trustee-advisor framework at the outset of the Assessment Period, and managing trustee and advisor relationships throughout the project cycle.

Rachel has deep knowledge of multi-employer requirements and extensive experience assessing scheme eligibility for entry into the PPF Assessment Period. Her work includes reviewing scheme rules and deeds, Annual Reports and Accounts, The Pensions Regulator Scheme Returns, legal advice, and other scheme documentation both pre- and post-insolvency events. As Trustee Secretary, she has coordinated meetings, prepared agendas, produced Trustee Project Plans, taken minutes, and managed action points.

With over 30 years of experience across customer service, insurance, and financial services in both private and public sectors, Rachel takes pride in delivering the best outcomes for members and trustees. She has been an Associate of the Pensions Management Institute (PMI) since July 2014, has completed the Pensions Regulator’s Trustee Toolkit, and passed the APPT soft skills and technical exams in 2025.
