Stephanie Jenner

Stephanie has vast experience in pension trusteeship, with a specialist focus on governance and project delivery.

She has an expert understanding of all aspects of scheme management: both the real-world and operational considerations from Scheme Secretary and Pensions Manager roles, through to the strategic overview, long-term considerations and decision making gained from her trustee roles.

She has practical experience of complex schemes and has specialised in scheme governance; member engagement and communications; the impacts of business transformation and change; regulatory compliance; and bespoke project scoping, implementation and management. She takes a proportionate, risk-based approach placing members at the centre of decision-making. Her pre-pensions experience includes compliance roles in the public and third sectors.

Stephanie holds trustee appointments with a range of challenges and objectives including PCST, co-trustee and as the trustee’s delegated representative on a variety of technical projects. She is also a key figure in our Outsourced Governance Services, heading teams that provide specialist Pensions Manager and Scheme Secretarial services, bespoke to the needs of the scheme and trustee.

With experience of schemes with complex sponsors, governance arrangements and legacy issues, Stephanie fosters open, pragmatic working relationships with the employers and advisers, which ensures that the schemes run smoothly and on track with their long-term objectives. Through collaborative and cohesive discussions, she is experienced in coordinating all stakeholders and unites them under a shared remit with clear objectives. She then leverages the best practices and expertise of each stakeholder to aid robust and confident trustee decision-making, focused on shared good outcomes for the scheme and its members.

Stephanie is a subject-matter expert on data-led projects, such as adviser (especially administrator) transitions, GMP Reconciliation and Equalisation, and long-term journey planning, particularly buy-out journey planning and preparedness. This enables her to clearly explore and agree trustee objectives and proceed in the most practical and effective manner.

Stephanie is a fully accredited Trustee by the Association of Professional Pension Trustees.
