Ian is a fully Accredited Member of the Association of Professional Pension Trustees and also a Fellow of the Pensions Management Institute.

At IGG Ian enjoys providing proactive trustee services in a variety of roles (including as a Nominated Trustee Representative and Scheme Secretary) to trustees of schemes with both Trustee Board and Professional Corporate Sole Trustee (PCST) frameworks.

His experience includes ongoing schemes (both Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution) and also undertaking risk transfer and subsequent buy out and wind up; as well those in PPF Assessment.

With an eye for detail, Ian also adopts a collaborative and practical approach and seeks to understand the requirements of all stakeholders to enable both long term strategic and short term operational projects to be managed efficiently, robustly and successfully.

Ian has over 20 years of pensions experience, and has worked at IGG since November 2020. He previously worked at a third-party administrator, with responsibility for a large team administering over 20 Trust based schemes ranging in asset size from £10m to over £1bn.
